Hannibal Lecter's office is used for psychiatric sessions for Dr. Lecter's patients, including Will Graham, Franklin Froideveaux, and Bella Crawford. In the first introduction to the office, Lecter mentions to Jack Crawford that he had a secretary who left for the UK due to falling in love. Here, both Franklyn and Tobias Budge were killed by the hands of Hannibal.
Design[]
It is stated that Hannibal 'took over' a historical building, with this being an active design choice of the crew, as this would give a set "more interesting than your typical psychiatrist's office". [1] The inspiration of the office set was the North Carolina State Library. [2] The interior art nouvea style, as well as Danish furniture, were chosen to reflect Hannibal's European background. [3]
The colour scheme is a grey palette, but with points of intense colour. [3]
