The Minnesota Shrike's nest is a cabin, located in Chippewa National Forest, Minnesota, where Garret Jacob Hobbs spent most of his time when taking days off and where he killed his victims. He and his daughter Abigail used to hunt deer and later butcher them in the cabin. That was also the place where Marissa Schurr's body was found impaled on a rack of antlers.
When Will takes Abigail back to the cabin where her father killed all of his victims, he finds out Abigail was the bait in which her father lured in all the girls whom he murdered.
Design[]
The lair of the Shrike is designed to emulate a hunter's abode, as many hunters do mount trophies of their kills, sometimes to the extent that "it becomes this thorny bush". [1]
