Robertus Lecter is the uncle of Hannibal Lecter and husband of Murasaki. He is first mentioned in the episode Oeuf by Hannibal while talking with Will Graham. In discussing the concept of family, Hannibal tells Will that he was a proverbial orphan until his uncle Robertus adopted him at age 16.
